Study in Turkey for Bangladeshi Students

Basic Requirements:

  • Need to complete HSC ( Applying for Bachelor )
  • Need to complete Bachelor ( Applying for Masters )
  • Need to complete Masters ( Applying for Doctorate )
  • IELTS: Minimum 5.5 – 6.5
  • Academic Results: Minimum 60% to ensure your admission

Admission Requirements

Undergraduate Admissions:

Following documents may be required of applicants who wish to apply for undergraduate study in Turkey. To ensure, please contact the respective university to figure out which documents or exams are required by the selected program.
  • International Student Application Form
  • High School Diploma and its translation (Turkish or English)
  • Official Transcript and its translation (Turkish or English)
  • Language Proficiency Score (Applicants should contact the university for minimum English language requirements. Students who do not meet language proficiency requirements may take the university’s proficiency test upon arrival. Those who fail the proficiency test must attend the English Preparatory Program provided by the university. For further information, please contact the Admissions Office of the respective university.)
  • Valid International University Entry Exam Result (Please contact the Admissions Office for the acceptable exams. Students who do not have enough scores on the acceptable international exams may take the university’s own exam for the international students.)
  • Financial Guarantee Letter
  • Application Fee
All documents regarding application must be submitted to the respective university no later than the application deadline announced on the Academic Calendar.



Graduate Admissions:

Following documents may be required of applicants who wish to apply for graduate study in Turkey. To ensure, please contact the respective graduate school to figure out which documents or exams are required by the selected program.

  • Statement of Purpose
  • Recommendation Letters

Estimated Cost of Living

An average international student in Turkey will spend about 400-500 USD a month on accommodation, food, clothing, entertainment, transportation and telephone costs. Books and administrative fees are approximately 100-150 USD per semester. Remember, though, that this figure depends on your location, lifestyle and which degree course you attend. You should seek further information on living costs from your institution directly.

  • International students, unfortunately, have no legal right to work either in public or private offices.

Work Permits (Calisma Izni)

  • If you find a job while in Turkey you may have to leave the country to apply for a work permit and then come back in again.
